چکیده
Abstract Background Over 6 decades since the first Coronary-Artery-Bypass-Grafting (CABG) and it is considered as most common cardiac surgery with established benefits on mortality morbidity. Purpose Following well-recognized epidemiology of coronary disease, we attempted to capture difference over time parameters such baseline clinical profile, comorbidities, operation characteristics, short-term complications perioperative mortality. Methods In this retrospective study, all adults patients isolated CABG were included. The study period was from January 1st, 1997 until December 31, 2019. statistical analysis referred prespecified time-points (the last enrolled patient). Results 14235 consecutively underwent during period. We reported trajectory their clinical, operative periprocedural outcome's phenotype for 23 years. way captured current holistic profile CABG-patient a timelapse (Table 1). Amongst comorbidities highlight 40% increase hypertension. Regarding in total cross clamping likely attests increasing difficulty performing grafting more diffusely diseased vessels plus time-forfeit increased usage non-saphenous vein grafts. Notwithstanding, did not significantly change time. Cardiac neurological also remained same, whereas renal pulmonary rose. A possible explanation worsen prolongation duration. Conclusion time, complicated are entering room age, decreased ejection fraction (EF) additive comorbidities. Nota bene despite accretion technical difficulties which expressed via clamp establishment arterial grafting. Arterial could be behoof parameter that attenuated trend. To our knowledge one largest series probably lone extended duration beyond two decades. Funding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: None.

Consequences of coronary artery bypass grafting in smokers and addicts
Introduction: The most common cardiac disease is coronary artery disease (CAD) in the world. Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is implemented through two standard surgical techniques, namely off-pump beating-heart CABG (OPCABG) and on-pump CABG (ONCABG). The CABG results in various levels of morbidity, especially in smokers and addicts, who have a lower pain threshold. Regarding this, the ...

Certain subsets of high-risk mitral valve patients are not suitable candidates for transcatheter therapies. The objective of this report is to present a young patient with combined mitral valve and coronary artery disease to illustrate these challenges. In this report, we present a 47-year-old man with longstanding HIV infection who was referred with severe mitral regurgitation (MR) and profound...

This is one of two coronary revascularisation techniques currently used in the treatment of coronary artery disease, the other being percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The patient will already have had a clinical diagnosis of coronary heart disease (CHD), confirmed by coronary angiography to delineate the obstruction. If PCI is feasible, it may be performed at the time of coronary angiog...

To the Editor: In their article on coronary-artery bypass grafting (CABG), Alexander and Smith (May 19 issue)1 state that “the usefulness of FFR [fractional flow reserve] in selecting patients with multivessel coronary artery disease for CABG or in identifying bypass graft targets in patients undergoing CABG has not been studied.” However, a prospective study by Botman et al.2 showed a relation...
